Summer or Winter?

December 19, 2009

500 Days of Summer proves that girls are a lot more complicated than they seem to be.i can totally relate to summer;not really looking for a serious relationship only to wake up one day next to someone that has one thing you weren’t sure about anyone you’ve been with before.

The best element of a good film is its ability to authorize its audience and make room for their own interpretation. An interpretation that could be based on how they want to define the characters’ emotions, how they chose to end the story or how they open the gate and let themselves be affected by it.

2 viewpoints in mind: from the realistic point of view, it’s simple as the tag line of the movie “boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl doesn’t”. And from the idealistic point of view and the hopeless romantic in me, summer was inlove w/ tom but chose not to be with him, simply because, being with the 1 u don’t love saves u from getting hurt and eradicates the threat of compromising  your principles&ways of life.
